Name: Pebblestar (formerly Pebblestrike)
Appearance: Image A small gray spotted tabby tom. His dark pink nose is matched by the pads on all four paws. He has small dark gray spots along his sides and legs while he has the classic tabby stripes along his tail, sides, and head. He has bright amber eyes.
Personality: Pebblestar prefers to watch and observe over interacting with his Clanmates. He will sit above them all in camp and watch the ins and outs, keeping track of which cat is in camp and which cats are out. It gives him a quiet sort of pride and joy to see his cats safe and happy. Just because he's not one to seek out company though doesn't mean he'll turn it away if somebody approaches him.
His favorites to watch are the apprentices though. Pebblestar wants nothing more than for each of his cats to succeed, and it's a point of pride to see these young cats go from bumbling fuzzfaces catching their first prey to confident warriors in their own right. Pebblestar refuses to give himself an apprentice unless absolutely necessary, so he makes sure to check in on each 'paw individually to see how they're doing.
Rank: Leader

Anything else?:
His mother once told him when he was young that they were descended from Shorestar himself. He'd believed it as a kit, but growing up had taught him to take Seafoam's words with a grain of salt. She lied about who his father way, after all, why wouldn't she lie about something that made her seem better, more important?
I should back up though. Pebblekit's mother was Seafoam, a warrior of ShoreClan who was a bit fuller of herself than she really deserved. She'd told the Clan that one of the most respected warriors was the father of her kits, and Piketail was beyond ecstatic. He'd always wanted to be a father, and the beautiful Seafoam was going to be the perfect mother!
Pebblekit and his sister, Sandkit, had no reason to believe otherwise. Pebblekit had Piketail's coloring after all, and Sandkit, despite her ginger fur, had his build. Piketail was a good father, visiting them daily and playing with them and looking after them when Seafoam needed a break.
It wasn't until their first Gathering, as Pebblepaw and Sandpaw, that they learned any different. A warrior from SunClan, Blazefire, cornered Seaform away from the Gathering and asked why she'd stopped coming to meet him. He kept going, ignoring Seafoam trying to stop him, and it wasn't until he'd proclaimed his love for her and saying he'd thought she loved him that he realized Pebblepaw and Sandpaw had snuck away from their mentors and had heard everything.
Blazefire was their father. Not Piketail.
Sandpaw ran away from the confrontation, but Pebblepaw stood his ground in a way that was unnatural for him and looked at Blazefire. REALLY looked. He had the ginger pelt of Sandpaw down, and he recognized his own eyes and shape of his muzzle.
Seafoam begged him not to tell, and to convince Sandpaw not to say anything. Pebblepaw agreed, but not for her. For Piketail, for Sandpaw, and for himself, but never her. After that day Pebblepaw made it quite known how he felt about his mother, going out of his way to avoid being near her. He was asked about what was wrong, mostly by Piketail who for some reason was STILL in love with Seaform, but assured him it was a problem between him and his mother.
He and Sandpaw became warriors, taking the names Pebblestrike and Sandstone. Pebblestrike kept his head down and did his duties, being friendly but never too friendly. He gave advice when wanted, helped the apprentices when asked, and made time to spend with his sister and dad.
He gained his first apprentice two seasons after being named a warrior, a spitfire named Wavepaw. Wavepaw had NO filter, saying anything and everything that came to mind without thinking of the consequences. More than once Pebblestrike had her doing the chores by herself as punishment for some slight or another. Over time she learned to think before speaking, and Wavepaw earned the name Waveheart when she saved a kit that had been dragged out to sea by a current.
Pebblestrike went on with his life. When the previous deputy retired, he was expecting anybody else to be named. Possibly Piketail, maybe even Seaform herself. So when his own name fell from the leader's maw, it took Sandstone nudging him in congratulations for him to realize he was the new deputy.
He took to his new duties better than he'd thought. He'd spent enough time observing his Clanmates to know who worked well together and who he should avoid putting together at any cost. He oversaw the apprentices' training, took the reports of the hunting and border patrols, and conveyed those reports to the leader nightly. He still avoided spending one on one time with his mother, but was able to speak civilly when needed.
Then Seafoam announced she was pregnant again, and any good progress between them was down the drain. It was only when the single kit was born, a gray she-kit named Rainkit, that Pebblestrike learned that Piketail really WAS the father this time. Pebblestrike loved his baby sister, more than he'd ever thought he could, and he knew he wanted to be a father one day.
Things were good, better than they'd ever been. He should have known better. All good things had to end some time. Pebblestrike had found the former leader dead in their nest, having passed in their sleep. It felt like a dream. From vigil to traveling to laying beside the (insert SpiritClan thing here), he was trying to wake up. Then he awoke in SpiritClan, facing his ancestors, and he knew it was reality.
8 cats he'd never met came and went to give him his lives, and the former leader gave him the ninth. He was hailed as Pebblestar, new leader of ShoreClan.
